State of the Pups - June 2011
Me: This will be pretty short this month, because I'm basically in a holding pattern right now while I get ready to spend the next month traveling. I leave July 7th and probably won't be back until the beginning of August, so I'm probably not going to be around too much, but I will still be around in some small capacity, picking away at threads when I can. Essentially, I want to keep threading, but I don't want to start any really major plotty stuff until August.
Wanda Langkowski: Like all of mine, had a pretty low-key month while I wind things down and prepare to take off. Not much has changed for her (hell, I think she's still got some of the same threads going), so there's not much to say. I still love her, am loving getting new canon for her again, am excited about the unexpected rejuvenation of her voice, and can't wait until I can get her out there more!
Age/Sex Switch: Yes! Still not 100% certain what I'm doing, but teenage boy seems like the strongest contender, for hormones and whatnot.
Rapture: Due to my upcoming limited tagging time, she's the only one I put in for the main plot, and only for the end of it. That much, I'll be able to handle, even if I have to phone tag it. She'll be down there pretty much all of the time, though, juicing up on tonics and studying things, so if anyone wants threads with her down there, GIMME GIMME GIMME. :D
Sean Cassidy: Holding pattern, with a few minor updates here and there, basically. He's actually talking about the fact that he and Meredith are supposed to be getting married now, so that's good, even if he's conveniently glossing over how the fact that they're not actually married yet is kind of a Thing, and not just circumstance like it would seem. The Black Widow's around, which... I really should have addressed when it happened, but short of backdating something with Meredith where he needs to be reminded why murder is bad, IDK. I figure Wolverine or someone will have told him that she's a good guy now, but he's still going to be wary as fuck of her forever, basically. And with Mystique on the way, it's like Sean will have traded most of his friends for people he hates, so that's pretty hilarious. Alternate universe or not, she's another one he's never going to trust ever, basically.
Age/Sex Switch: Yes! He's going to be about 45-50 and have a hot teen girlfriend and be thoroughly disturbed, it will be beautiful.
Rapture: He'll be going down in an official capacity, but I don't actually have any plans for him yet beyond that. I would like some very much! Nix mentioned doing something with him, Meredith, and Jamie, that could be cool. It's just not a big epic plot if Sean hasn't nearly gotten himself killed, and the fact that he's a borderline alcoholic at this point can really just exacerbate things. I think I'm done with actually injuring him for the time being, though, I just want some nice close calls. XD
Felix Unger: Is Felix. Needs a post or something, ideally before the end of the month, but I might just tag him around some instead. Island PETA, coming this year, watch for it.
Age/Sex Switch: Undecided! If something hilarious occurs to me, I'm all for it, but right now I think just dealing with everyone else's shenanigans will be the way to go.
Rapture: Ahahahahaha. XD If anyone has any ideas, hit me up for great lulz, otherwise, no.
Madelyne Pryor: Holy crap, what was I thinking? My first app in almost two years, I almost forgot what it's like. I slacked a bit on her debut, but I'm loving her and her voice is clicking nicely for me, even if I keep having some weird tense issues. Redheads are present, everyone else is past, I can remember that. The next month is going to be about letting her settle comfortably in before I start throwing plot and shit at her come August. For now, she just needs to thread with ALL THE PEOPLE, basically. Rachel, Wolverine, and Rogue are at the top of the list, obviously, and then Cable Cable Cable Gary give me Cable always more Cable. 8D Also, she'll need another thread with Bones after the current one, now that she knows he's Jean's ex, she's just kind of awkwardly avoiding him at the moment, I'd say.
I LOVE HERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
Age/Sex Switch: I'm Maddy Pryor. I been sick, but I'm better now. It's tempting! I'm not married to the idea, but it could be fun, basically I think it'll come down to how I'm feeling at the time and what else is going on with her.
The Future: More up in the air than it's been in a very long time. Between Amelia Earhart (yes, she's still in there), a possible temporary return of Norman Osborn, a nurse from the '80s, and no less than three teenage girls, my queue is a place of madness. It's like I finally sent one in and all I want to do now is write apps, what even. Nothing matters until August either way, though, and a lot can happen in a month, so we'll see!

I don't actually have anything as concrete as all that planned, honestly, I just figure, depending on how things are going with everyone else, it'll be a good time for things to start coming up. Or at least for her to really start realizing that there are things to come up other than the standard ones that come from people being from the future. IDK.
